Are you also frustrated, angry and unable to support your child in the way you want to?  Join this 7 week coaching group for mothers and carers to grow your capacity to understand anger, big feelings and support yourself so that you can BECOME the mother your child needs.

When our kids are struggling with BIG feelings, most of us want to remain patient, calm and in control. But the truth is, feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, even enraged by our childs tantrums and anger is more common than we realise. Being a mum is hard enough in our modern world and when anger and aggression are present, we can feel triggered in ways that we were not prepared for. Kids don’t come with a handbook so what can we do to ensure more connection (and our sanity!)?

BECOMING is an online program designed to build your understanding of the emotion of anger, make sense of their nervous system responses and yours, build compassion for your child, see their behaviour as a signal and lean into their feelings and needs with empathy. And to start doing the same for yourself - because it’s your presence, understanding and safety that they need the most. This is the growth journey that almost every parent needs - but not many are willing to take action.

EXPLORATION OF ANGER AND FEELINGS

BECOMING will help you build your capacity to be a more connected parent through the magic of story sharing and community. You will feel less alone. You will soften guilt and shame and know that your feelings make sense. And you will learn to trust that your child isn’t broken - and neither are you. 

Over the space of 7 weeks we will explore:

  • Bite sized learning on anger and aggression

  • Looking under the behaviour, understanding feelings and needs 

  • An overview of the nervous system and highly sensitive humans

  • SOFTEN your fears of anger and lower your expectations

  • SURRENDER to the season you are in 

  • SLOW down and simplify

  • Build more SAFETY within YOUR nervous system and home

  • Help your child to feel more SEEN through listening, play, delight and noticing the good in them

  • SOOTHING yourself daily so you can show up 

  • Understanding SECURE attachment to help your child feel more seen

Having experienced many layers of anger in my home - my own and my kids - I have had to build tools for nervous system care and self compassion so that I could BECOME the be the parent I wanted to be. I learned to listen to tears, tantrums, ride the storms of meltdowns and support my children through hard seasons of aggression and anxiety without using fear, punishment and shame. 

I am committed to changing the paradigm of parenting to one that is based on connection, safety and protecting children from harm.

With a high value on growth, I am always expanding my study of trauma, somatic and sensory therapy, aggression, nutrition, gut health, emotional release, nervous system and play. As a highly sensitive person (HSP) myself and raising sensitive, deeply feeling kids in a world that doesn’t prioritise the mental and emotional wellbeing of children OR their parents, I am so passionate about supporting mothers to be the safest person for their children.
