Loving Your Angry Child (Early Bird)

Is your child seemingly always angry? Are you fresh out of ideas? Are you at the end of your tether? Join this 6 week coaching group for mothers and carers needing support to love their child through the big feelings of anger.

When our kids are struggling with BIG feelings, most of us want to remain patient, calm and in control. But the truth is, feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, even enraged by tantrums is more common than we realise. Being a mum is hard enough in our modern world and when anger and aggression are present, we can feel triggered in ways that we were not prepared for. Kids don’t come with a handbook so what can we do to ensure peace, love (and our sanity?)

Loving your ‘Angry’ Child is an online program and circle series designed to build your understanding of the emotion of anger, build compassion for your child, see their behavior as a signal and lean into their needs or feelings with empathy and support your “angry” child. Also - we will lose the label of “Angry child”.

Over the course of 6 weeks you will develop strategies for:

  • Anger - what it means and why it presents

  • Compassion - for you first, then your child

  • Meltdowns and aggression - how to ride the storm

  • Emotional intelligence - how to honour your feelings and the role they play

  • The nervous system - fight, flight, freeze, fawn

  • Connection - the basics

  • PEACE process - how to move through tough moments with regulation and connection.

Facilitated by Alita Blanchard - Parent coach and mother of 4 boys.  

Joined by industry experts and supported by evidence-based research.

This short coaching and connection container is a safe and supportive space to slowly start learning about anger and aggression, build understanding of your childs nervous system and share your frustrations, feelings and stories with other likeminded mothers and carers.

STARTS JULY 2024

  • 12 x COACHING / LISTENING CIRCLES via Zoom to create connection, practice emotional release and build self compassion - each week will be same topic, you can join either or both.

    - Monday evenings 8pm - 9.30pm

    - Thursday daytime 12pm - 1.30pm

  • Bite sized learning videos and content via Facebook group by Alita Blanchard- videos will be under 10-15 minutes

  • No set course to move through - this will be more about connection and softening your fear stories than going on a big growth journey.

  • Private Facebook and Messenger group for discussion, additional links and questions.

  • Listening partnership groups set up for ongoing support
